Episode 92 with the Stars of Delco Proper!!!

We have been waiting for this moment for what seems like an eternity and we were finally able to pull it off.  I sat down with Tommy Pope, John McKeever and Tim Butterly at a pub in Center City to talk up their upcoming Comedy Central Series “Delco Proper”.  If that sounds familiar, it’s because they released a pilot, of sorts, last fall to huge acclaim on comedycentral.com and was re-upped for three more episodes and all signs are pointing to bigger and better things on top of that.

These three guys are legitimately some of the funniest people I’ve ever met and are at an elite level skill when it comes to filming  comedies and at stand up.  This was probably the most fun I’ve had recording in ages and despite Tommy’s audio not coming through, the final product seems great! Everything from the technical side of filming to inappropriate comments by Tim are included here (link to an isolated comment that is A+) and you even get a little bit of garbage “bar rock” in the background as a sprinkle on top.  The music during the breaks is done Philly’s own Illinois who, through their lead singer/songwriter Chris Archibald, help score Delco Proper and they are truly an amazing band that I can’t recommend enough.  They are playing a show here on March 5th at Bourbon & Branch in Philly.

Tomorrow, February 29th, please go to cc.com and watch Delco Proper.  This show is unbelievably funny and 50 plus crew and cast are all Philly based, so I think I speak for all of Philadelphia when I say this is something special that needs to be supported in a strong way!
